Jenin, March 15 — Israeli forces torched multiple homes in the Jenin refugee camp and destroyed infrastructure near Jenin Governmental Hospital, further escalating their 54-day assault on the occupied West Bank city, Wafa reported.

Troops also blocked the camp’s main roads with barricades, restricting movement.

Since the offensive began on January 21, Israeli forces have demolished around 120 homes across various neighborhoods, forcibly displacing 40,000 residents.

“The destruction is relentless. Families are being driven out with nowhere to go,” a local resident told Wafa.

The ongoing assault has killed 34 Palestinians and injured dozens more.

In a separate raid, Israeli forces stormed the Fawwar refugee camp, triggering clashes with residents, with a young Palestinian man suffering a gunshot wound to the foot while several others were treated for tear gas inhalation.

According to reports, troops also fired live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas during the confrontation.
