Flood In Libya Kills 3000 People, Over 10000 Missing

Up to 3,000 people are estimated to have been killed and 10,000 are missing after massive floods in eastern Libya.

As per reports, Storm Daniel lashed eastern Libya after its torrential rains earlier lashing Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece.

The city of Derna has experienced the worst destruction after two dams burst, Al Jazeera reported.

Red Cross official Tamer Ramadan said that about 10,000 people are missing after the floods and warned the death toll is “huge” and expected to rise by thousands in the coming days.
