Srinagar: The shrine of Hazrat Baba Naseeb Din Ghazi (RA) in the Sangam area of Srinagar's Eidgah was engulfed in a massive fire on Wednesday, with two Chinar trees also burned in the incident.
According to locals, the fire broke out at the shrine in the intervening night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
"This is the second time such a fire has erupted at the shrine; previously, locals had immediately extinguished it," locals said.
Officials said that fire tenders rushed to the spot upon receiving the information around 2:00 AM and successfully extinguished the flames.
