Awantipora: A boat carrying nine non-local labourers capsized in the Jhelum River at the Hatiwara area of south Kashmir’s Awantipora, with seven persons rescued and two others missing.
An official said that the boat, carrying nine non-locals, capsized at Hatiwara.
With the efforts of locals, seven persons were rescued, while two others are still missing, he said.
He added that the SDRF teams, police, and locals have started the operation to retrieve the two missing persons.
