Srinagar/Tral, 20 November 2024: Two residents of Satura village in Tral, South Kashmir, sustained injuries after being attacked by a bear in the forested area of Satura Tral, Pulwama district, officials said.
The victims, identified as Farooq Ahmad Hijam, son of Samad Hijam, and Mohammad Akbar Shah, son of Qadir Shah, were herding sheep in the forest when the bear attacked them on Tuesday evening.
Both were rushed to the hospital for treatment, where their condition is reported to be stable.
