Gaza, March 23 — Israeli airstrikes killed at least 41 Palestinians and injured 61 others across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, local health authorities reported on Wednesday.
The latest deaths add to the mounting death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive, which has killed 50,021 people and left 113,274 injured since October 7, 2023.
Rescue operations remain severely hindered, with emergency crews unable to reach many casualties trapped under rubble or scattered on roads.
Local sources said Israeli forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense teams, making it nearly impossible to assist the wounded.
