Suspended MP Prajwal Revanna from Karnataka, accused of sexually abusing and raping over 2,000 women whose videos were leaked online, has been arrested at the Bengaluru Airport after landing from Berlin.
According to reports, he is likely to face a probe by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) over allegations of sexual harassment and criminal intimidation following a complaint by a woman who worked in his household and expected to be produced before the magistrate in a Special Court of People's Representatives within 24 hours of arrest.
Since the scandal leaked online where women can be seen pleading with Prajwal to not rape them, the accused had fled the country.
The SIT has also filed an application in the High Court questioning his father, HD Revanna's bail in the kidnapping case of a woman from KR Nagar, Mysore.
