Srinagar: A man jumped into the Jhelum river near the Zaina Kadal area of Srinagar downtown on Thursday evening, according to officials.
An official said that a resident of Zakoora, Srinagar, jumped into the river Jhelum near Zaina Kadal this evening.
He added that a rescue operation was launched, but unfortunately, the person was not traced till late evening.
Moreover, police have started an investigation.
