Rajouri: A 48-year-old woman died after falling off a bridge in Pir Panchal region’s Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning, officials said.
News agency GNS quoted an official saying she was crossing the bridge when she slipped and fell into a rivulet in Kandi area. Soon after, a rescue operation was launched at the site and the body of the woman recovered later on.
The official identified the deceased woman as Shamim Akhter, wife of Khadam Hussein, and a resident of Kandi Rajouri.
