Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with J&K Police and CRPF on Saturday attached (seized) a residential house of an alleged ‘hybrid’ in a weapon recovery case in Chanapora area of Srinagar.
According to officials, the house has been attached in connection with a case of RC 4/22 regarding recovery of weapon.
The attached property belongs to accused militant namely Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Abdul Ganaie, and a resident of Khan Colony, Chanapora Srinagar.
Earlier in May 2023, Srinagar Police arrested two local ‘hybrids’ in Chanapora Srinagar and recovered arms & ammunition material including 15 pistols, 30 magazines, 300 rounds & 1 silencer from them. Later the case was handed over to NIA.
