Srinagar: A protest was held at Saida Kadal area of Srinagar on Tuesday with locals accusing the Jal shakti (water) department for proving insufficient water supply to the area from the last six months.
As per locals, despite complaining repeatedly about their problems before the Jal Shakti officials, no action has been initiated yet.
“Water is a basic necessity and the department must understand this,” said a local.
Furthermore, Jal Shakti Division Srinagar have affirmed that the issue will be resolved soon.
