Doda: A Village Defence Guard (VDG) was found dead with a bullet injury in Chenab region’s Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Friday.
A police official identified the deceased as Balwant Singh, son of Prem Nath and a resident of Kharangal Gandoh.
He was found dead with a under suspicious circumstances.

“His service (rifle 303) was found next to his body,” he said.
A police party rushed to the spot and shifted his body to a hospital for post-mortem, he added.
