Srinagar: Two militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (TRF) were killed in an early morning encounter at Zakura area of Srinagar, police said on Saturday.
One among slains have been identified as Ikhlaq Hajam.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, said two militants of LeT/TRF neutralised by Srinagar Police.
"One of the killed militants Ikhlaq Hajam was involved in recent killing of Head Constable Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag," Police Tweets.
Incriminating materials including two pistols were recovered, police said.
A head constable of JK police Ali Muhammad Ganie was shot at by the militants near his residence at Hasanpora Tabala area of Bijbehara Anantnag on January 29.
