Srinagar: Police said that two OGWs from north Kashmirs Bandipora were arrested at a checkpoint in the Shalteng area of Srinagar.
In a statement, a spokesperson said that during late night checking two OGWs namely Yawar Rashid S/o Abdul Rashid Dar and Basit Nabi S/o Ghulam Nabi Bhat—both residents of Bandipora were arrested.
The statement reads that upon their search arms and ammunition were recovered which included a pistol and a hand grenade.
It reads that a case FIR No. 159/2023 u/s 7/25 A Act, 4/5 Exp Subs Act, 18,23,39 UA(P) has been registered in PS Parimpora and an investigation initiated.
