One of the two militants killed in a forest area of Namibian and Marsar on Saturday morning has been identified as top Jaish-e-Muhammad commander Lamboo, police said.
Earlier, a senior police officer told KNO that two militants were killed while as the search operation was on in the area.
"The exact location of the encounter is between Namibian & Marsar, the general area of Dachigam forest," the police tweeted.
Earlier, an official said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of militants in the area—(KNO)
