Two Local Militants Of HM Armed Group Killed In Anantnag

Srinagar: Two Local Militants were killed on Tuesday in Pushkari Kanilwan area of south Kashmir’s Bijbehera, Anantnag district, Police said. 

Police have identified the duo as local militants of Hizbul Mujahideen armed group namely Danish Bhat alias Kokab Duree and Basharat Nabi. However, their age and residence was not revealed by the officials.

As per Police’s ADGP (Additional Director General of Police) Vijay Kumar, both were involved in the killing of TA (Territorial Army) personnel and two civilians.

“Both were involved in killing of one TA personnel Saleem on 9 April 2021 and killing of two civilians on 29 May 2021 in Jablipora,” police quoted ADGP saying.
