Pattan: Two people were killed when their two-wheeler met with an accident in the Tappar Payeen area of north Kashmir’s Pattan. However, details of how the accident occurred were not available.
Reports suggest that one of the deceased hailed from north Kashmir’s Handwara and the other from Mohali, Punjab.
Onlookers shifted the duo to a trauma hospital in Pattan, where both succumbed shortly after.
Confirming the incident, BMO Pattan, Dr. Mohammad Taha Khan, said that the bodies of the duo remain at the trauma hospital. “We have informed the respective families,” he said.
