Warwan: Two persons were killed after a load carrier fell into a deep gorge at Margan Top near the Naribaran area of Warwan in the Kishtwar district on Thursday, according to officials.
The deceased have been identified as Abid Hussain, a resident of Khudwani, and Showkat Ahmed Pathana, a resident of Larnoo, Matigowran.
An official said that the vehicle was on its way from Anantnag to Marwah when it fell into the gorge near Naribaran, killing two people.
An operation to retrieve the bodies is underway, he added.
