Doda: Two persons were killed, and another sustained injuries when a Tata Mobile (JK06B-1533) load carrier skidded off the road and plunged into a 250-feet gorge in the Chenab Valley’s Doda district on Monday.
The accident occurred on the Tanta-Gundna road, resulting in the on-spot death of Mir Ali, son of Noor from Kunthal, and Zafarullah, son of Talib Hussain from Dandi Bala.
The driver, identified as Aqib Gulzar, survived the crash but suffered injuries. He was immediately shifted to GMC Doda hospital by rescuers in the midnight hours.
SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom, confirmed the tragic incident and informed that a case has been registered.
