Srinagar: Police on Thursday said two ‘Hybrids’ affliated to The Resistance Front (TRF) were arrested in Srinagar.
"Two Hybrid militants arrested by a team of Srinagar Police & 50RR," police said.
They were identified as Naveed Shafi wani, resident of Khrew Pampore and Faizan Rashid Teli, resident of kadlabal Pampore.
"Four pistols, live rounds, 16 gelatine sticks, grenade etc were recovered from their possession," poilce added.
‘Hybrid’ term was coined by police in November last year which according to poilce are undercover militants and carry out attacks like sleeper cells
