Two ‘Hybrids’ Held In Bandipora IED Blast Case: Police

Srinagar: Additional director general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar on Monday said that Sopore police have cracked the recent IED blast attack in the Kehnusa village of north Kashmirโ€™s Bandipora district by arresting two โ€˜hybrids.โ€™ย 

Both of the accused were identified as Irshad Ganaie alias Shahid and Waseem Raja, resident of Kenusa Bandipora. However, police didnโ€™t mention their age.ย ย

In a Tweet, Kashmir Zone police informed that two โ€˜hybridโ€™ militants involved in IED blast in Kehnusa village have been arrested.

Police said that two remote controlled IEDs with detonators have also been recovered from their possession.ย

โ€œSopore Police has cracked the recent IED blast incident at Kenusa Bandipora. 02 hybrid terrorists namely Irshad Ganaie @ Shahid & Waseem Raja of Kenusa Bandipora arrested. 02 remote controlled IEDs with detonators recovered. Case registered & investigation going on,โ€ police tweeted.
