Hajin/Sopore: Two youths drowned while bathing in separate incidents in North Kashmir’s Hajin and Sopore areas.
In Hajin, 19-year-old Nadeem, son of Zahoor Ahmad and a resident of Mir Mohalla, drowned in the Jhelum River near Jamia.
In a separate incident in Sopore, Umar Hameed, son of Ab Hameed Dar and a resident of Naseer Abad, drowned in the Pohru Nallah.
Rescue operations are currently underway, according to officials.
