Srinagar: A tourist died after slipping into a river at Butapathri area in north Kashmir’s famous ski-resort, Gulmarg on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Shalo Anand (46), wife of Sandeep Anand.
As per reports, she was with her family when she slipped into the river.
When she was immediately rescued and taken to a nearby health facility, doctors declared her brought dead.
Confirming it, a police official said that the tourist had head injuries which she suffered while slipping into the river.
