Budgam: A toddler was drowned to death on Wednesday afternoon in Danas area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
He was identified as Talib Ahmad Ganie, 2, son of Khursheed Ahmad Ganie and a resident of Danas Budgam.
An official said that a 2-year-old boy was playing when he drowned in Sukhnag Nallah (water-body), even as locals and officials rushed for rescue operation immediately.
The official said that his body was later recovered by the locals from the river.
