High-level talks between Kyiv and Moscow are taking place at the Ukraine-Belarus border, Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said.
The delegation from Ukraine includes its Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov and presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak among others, Ukraine said.

Furthermore, Ukraine president said Kyiv’s goal for the discussions was an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of all Russian forces from Ukraine.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called the next 24 hours “crucial” for Ukraine. However, its military claims the pace of Russia has slowed.
Meanwhile, the UN’s human rights chief said at least 102 civilians have been killed since Russia launched its invasion, with a further 304 injured, but warns the real figure is feared to be “considerably higher”.
Michelle Bachelet said most of the deaths were a result of the use of “explosive weapons with a wide impact area, including shelling from heavy artillery and multi-launch rocket systems, and air strikes”.
He also said the rufugee toll has reached to 422,000. ‘Ukrainians almost 422,000 people have now fled their homeland, with many more displaced within the country.
Moreover, Russia’s Putin has shifted its nuclear forces on a high alert footing to which China has reacted.

It comes after Ukraine president Zelenskyy asked European Union to immediately admit Ukraine as a NATO member via special procedure.
“Our goal is to be with all Europeans and, most importantly, to be equal. I’m sure that’s fair. I am sure we deserve it,” he said in a video speech shared on social media.
