Budgam: Suspected militants lobbed a grenade on police station in Budgamon on Tuesday evening, Police said.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam said militants lobbed grenade towards police station Budgam, which exploded outside the gate.
He said that an alert santry fired upon the militants but they managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness.
The area have been cordoned off to nab the attackers, he added.
