Srinagar Freezes At Minus 3.4 °C, Pahalgam At Minus 4.4 °C

Srinagar: Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 3.4 degree Celsius on Monday. 

The minimum temperature continues to settle below freezing point in the Valley as the majority of stations recorded sub-zero temperatures.
 
As per the details, south Kashmir’s top tourist destination, Pahalgam recorded the lowest temperature in the valley at minus 4.4- degrees celsius. 
 
The minimum temperature at a world-famous ski resort in north Kashmir’s Gulmarg was recorded at minus 3.2 Degrees Celsius last night while Kupwara recorded a temperature of minus 2.7 Degree Celsius.
 
The mercury in South Kashmir’s Kokernag settled at minus 1.4 degrees Celsius while in Qazigund the minimum temperature was recorded at minus 3.4 Degree Celsius.
