Kupwara: An elderly man was killed on Tuesday after being hit by a speedy car when he was returning from hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Gojar, son of Saif-ud-Din Gojar -resident of Jugtiyal Haihama.
As per reports, the accident took place at Bramri area along Kupwara-Srinagar highway.
However, a police official said that the car driver has been arrested and a case has been registered for investigations.
