Sopore: At least five people were injured after two bikes collided near the 22-RR Camp in Zaloora Harwan area of north Kashmir’s Sopore on Monday evening, officials reported.
An official stated that two bikes, bearing registration numbers JK05K-1037 and JK09A-8249, collided, resulting in injuries to five people.
The injured individuals have been identified as Saqlain Shabir Bhat (23), Tawfeeq Shafi Bhat (19-20), Farhath Rashid Bhat (18), Mehraj Ud din Mir, and Hazim Mohi-ud-din Beigh (3), all residents of Harwan, Bungam Langate, and Zaloora.
According to an official from GMC (Government Medical College) Handwara, the injured persons were referred to District Hospital Handwara.
"Hazim was referred to Barzulla Hospital, Srinagar, due to a suspected fracture, while Mehraj Ud din Mir was referred to SMHS Hospital for advanced treatment," he said.
