Ganderbal: A 60-year-old man died after he slipped on a glacier in Behak Saalnay area of Wanghat in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
He was identified as Mohammad Aslam Khatana, resident of Wangath.
As per reports, he slipped to death while he was walking on a glacier.
An official said that soon after the incident, locals and police rushed to the spot and retrieved his body.
He added that his body was later brought to his home for last rites.
