Unknown militants killed five Civilains and an armed personnel in car bomb attack on the Yemeni military convoy in Aden city of south Yemen on Wednesday.
As per reports, atleast six people were killed and several others wounded.
However, the Head of government Forces of Lahaj province, Saleh Al-Sayed have survived the assassination attempt.
Saleh is the Commander of the military units in Lahaj, a force built and trained by the United Arab Emirates.
The armed group is nominally part of the Saudi-led coalition which intervened in Yemen conflict in 2015 after the Houthi movement ousted the internationally recognised government from the capital, Sanaa.
The multifaceted war in Yemen has killed tens of thousands of people and pushed millions to the brink of famine.
No militant group has so far claimed responsibility of the attack.
