Shopian Coldest in Valley at -3.6°C

Srinagar, Nov 22: Shopian recorded the coldest temperature in Kashmir at minus 3.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Pulwama at minus 3.2°C.
 
Srinagar, the Kashmir capital, experienced its coldest night of the season so far at minus 1.2°C
 
Anantnag recorded minus 3.5°C, Larnoo registered minus 2.9°C, and Bandipora and Kulgam shared a low of minus 2.4°C. Pahalgam saw minus 2.3°C, while Budgam recorded minus 2.0°C.
 
In South Kashmir, Qazigund recorded minus 1.4°C, while Gulmarg, the ski resort in North Kashmir, registered minus 0.6°C. Sonamarg recorded minus 1.3°C, and Baramulla settled at 0.1°C.
 
In the Chenab region, Padder was the coldest at minus 4.9°C, followed by Bhaderwah at 2.6°C and Banihal at 2.0°C. Jammu city recorded 11.3°C.
 
In Ladakh, Drass remained the coldest spot across the region at minus 7.0°C, with Leh at minus 6.2°C and Kargil at minus 4.0°C.
 

The weather department has predicted dry weather across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh until November 23.
