Samba: A young man died from multiple gunshot wounds caused by the BSF in the Samba district near the Regal border area, officials said on Saturday.
The young man, identified as Vasudev, aged around 28-30 years, was the son of Madan Lal and lived in Akhnoor. He was shot at around 10:30 PM on June 7.
Vasudev was taken to District Hospital Samba, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Further details are awaited, and an investigation into the shooting by the BSF is ongoing, officials added.
