At least six persons were killed and 25 others were injured after Russia launched a “massive missile” attack overnight on the city of Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine officials said.
Also, Ukraine shelled villages and damaged several houses in Russia’s Kursk region near the border with Ukraine, according to the regional governor.
Ukrainian military said that their air defence systems were engaged in the early hours of Tuesday to repel Russian air attacks in the Kyiv region.
“I thank our guys for every Ukrainian flag that is now returning to its rightful place,” says President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as Ukraine’s forces claim to have retaken seven villages in a counteroffensive against Russian troops.
