New Delhi: Former Kashmir Bar Association President Mian Abdul Qayoom among three witnesses failed to appear in a special TADA court on Thursday in connection with the 1989 abduction of Rubiya Sayeed, reports The Tribune.
As per the report, four eyewitnesses were summoned to appear before the special court. Among them, Mian Qayoom did not appear and submitted a medical certificate stating that he is admitted to a hospital.
Also, another eyewitness (number 23) is dead.
The court would again hear the Rubaiya Sayeed case and IAF personnel killing case on January 18 and the next day.Â
