Kulgam: Property of an accused drug peddler was seized by J&K Police on Tuesday in south Kashmir’s Kulgam, an official said.
As per the Official, a 2 storied residential house belonging to an accused drug peddler, identified as Khursheed Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohd Ismail Bhat and a resident of Sopat Devsar was seized today under section 68-F of NDPS Act 1985
The accused was also involved in multiple NDPS cases including Act of police station Devsar, the official added.
“During the investigation it was identified that seized property of the accused is illegally acquired and was used as a prime source for Narcotic trafficking by the drug peddler,” he further added.
The accused is currently under detention at Kot-Bhalwal jail in Jammu under the PIT-NDPS Act.
