Bandipora: A recently joined LeT( TRF) militant arrested in the orchards of Lawaypora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said on Monday.
The youth have been identified as Amir Tariq khan alias Waleed, son of Tariq Ahmad Khan, a resident of Bandipora’s Lawaypora.
Police said they received a specific input regarding the presence of recently joined LeT( TRF) militant in the orchards of Lawaypora area .
"Acting on this information a joint Caso was launched by Bandipora police, 14 RR & 3Bn CRPF.
The police said that the youth’s photograph regarding joining of TRF militant outfit went viral on social media on April 13.
"In this regard cognizance has been taken in police station Bandipora under relevant section of law & further investigation taken up, " the police added.
