Rajouri: A man, accused of murdering his one month old son in the Argu village of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, was arrested within 24 hours on Thursday evening, police said.
In a statement, police said that an information was received at police station Rajouri about the murder of a month old boy by his father namely Mohammad Suleiman, resident of Sagote area in Argi, Rajouri.
“The accused was apprehended by a Police Station Rajouri led by SHO Fareed Ahmed along with SI Mohd Farooq under the supervision of senior officers of District Police Rajouri,” the statement said.
It added that the questioning and further investigation of the accused was going on.
A case in FIR 536/2022 u/s 302 IPC stands lodged, the statement added.
