Srinagar, Feb 14: J&K Police in Sopore have attached property worth several lakhs under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), seizing a single-story house, a poultry farm, and two kanals of land in Rakhi Sultanpora Sumbal.
The action, taken under Section 25 of the UAPA, is linked to FIR No. 307/2023 registered at Sopore Police Station, Police said in a statement.
According to the statement, the attachment was carried out in the presence of a designated police team and the Executive Magistrate, ensuring adherence to legal protocols.
“All procedures were followed during the operation,” it reads.
