Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police chief, Dilbagh Singh on Saturday said that they have got clues that chances of pakistani militants are very less as a few foreign militants are active in north Kashmir.ย
ย
Earlier, almost an hour ago, IGP Vijay Kumar said a Pakistani militant was involved in the killing of two policemen in Bandiporaโs gulshan chowk and that two OGWs have facilitated him.ย
ย
However, DGP Dilbagh while talking to reporters at slain Sopore copโs residence said police have got the initial clues with regard to the attack and it is working to identify the involved militants.ย
ย
"Police with the support of security forces have been protecting people and ensuring their well-being, which doesnโt suit the militants, thus are attacking the police force,โ he said.
ย
โPolice is keeping eye on those few Pakistani militants, some of them have been killed while the remaining will be neutralised soon,โ he added.
