Pir Panchal: Over 40 persons were detained during the Cordon and Search Operations (CASO) across the Pir Panjal region after a suspected militant ambush attack against an army vehicle in which five personnel lost their lives.
Over 40 people have so far been detained in connection with investigation of the case, an official said.
A security red alert has been issued in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch after the April 20th attack carried out by militants between Bhimber Gali and Bhata Dhurian, he said.

“The security forces are conducting massive CASOs in twin districts Rajouri and Poonch in order to track the militants involved in the attack but there was no big development in these operations so far,” he further said.
