Srinagar: Police on Sunday said that the vehicle used by two militants, who are associated with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) has been seized from the encounter site while one rifle and two grenades have also been recovered in Nowhatta area of Srinagar.
As per police, a two-wheeler vehicle (scooter) used by two LeT militants has been seized from the site.
“Besides, one Ak-74 rifle and two grenades have been recovered while the search is still going on,” police said.

Earlier, Police said that an unidentifed militant and a cop from Ramban were injured.
There are no reports available on the number of militants trapped in the encounter (military operation) or the status of the encounter.
However, sources said that the militants have escaped from the site and searches are underway.
