Police Seize House Under NDPS In Mujgund

Mujgund:ย Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized a double-storied residential house belonging to an alleged drug peddler in Srinagar districtโ€™s Mujgund area, located along the Srinagar-Bandipora road via the HMT-Shalteng intersection.

In a statement, police said: โ€œThe residential house located at Mujgund in District Srinagar, valuing approximately Rs 11.51 lacs belonging to a notorious drug peddler identified as Mohd Shafi Mir son of Amanullah Mir, resident of Kalarooch Kupwara has been attached under the NDPS Act 1985.โ€

After thorough investigation, police identified the property, illegally acquired property in illicit drug trafficking,โ€ the police said.

The accused is currently under judicial custody.

The attachment was carried out in accordance with sec 68-F of NDPS Act 1985 and is linked with FIR No 301/2023 under sections 8/20,29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Pulwama, the police added.ย
