Police Seize House Under NDPS In Mujgund

Mujgund: Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized a double-storied residential house belonging to an alleged drug peddler in Srinagar district’s Mujgund area, located along the Srinagar-Bandipora road via the HMT-Shalteng intersection.

In a statement, police said: “The residential house located at Mujgund in District Srinagar, valuing approximately Rs 11.51 lacs belonging to a notorious drug peddler identified as Mohd Shafi Mir son of Amanullah Mir, resident of Kalarooch Kupwara has been attached under the NDPS Act 1985.”

After thorough investigation, police identified the property, illegally acquired property in illicit drug trafficking,” the police said.

The accused is currently under judicial custody.

The attachment was carried out in accordance with sec 68-F of NDPS Act 1985 and is linked with FIR No 301/2023 under sections 8/20,29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Pulwama, the police added.
