Srinagar: Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Tuesday identified the three slain militants as locals.
"The three killed militants have been identified as local militants of LeT namely Danish Khursheed Bhat, Tanveer Wani and Towseef Bhat," police said without briefing about their age and history.
"They were involved in several militant crime cases and one of them namely Danish was involved in recruitment of youth into militant ranks in Shopian," poilce added.
