Baramulla: Two locals have been booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) by the police on Monday, citing their involvement in the disturbance of law and order.
In a statement, police said that two persons namely Fayaz Ahmad Kumar alias Narshima, son of Ghulam Qadir and a resident of Khanpora Baramulla & Safeer Ahmad Bhat alias Safeer Molvi, son of Ab Majeed Bhat and a resident of Janbazpora Baramulla were booked under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.
The booked persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal Jail Jammu, reads the statement.
