Pulwama: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday arrested four OGWs (Over Ground Workers) working with militants of Jaish-e-Muhammad outfit in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
During investigation, four youth were actively associated with the JeM outfit providing logistic, transportation and other facilities for commission of militant acts”, reads a police statement.
The accused have been identified as; Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather son of Mohammad Shaban Rather, a resident of Chewa Kallan, Naseer Ahmad Malik (Madrasa Administrator) son of Abdul Hamid Malik, a resident of Wasoora, Rayees Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh Nabi Sheikh, a resident of Khanpora Newa and Yawar Rashid Ganai son of Ab Rashid Ganai of Gudoora Pulwama.
“It is pertinent to mention that on 12-03-2022 two militants of banned outfit JeM were killed in an operation at Chewa Kallan and one militant was apprehend alive,” reads the statement.
“Investigation of the cases is going on,” it added.
