A Palestinian teenager was shot dead and left bleeding to death at Qalandia military checkpoint in the occupied West Bank after he allegedly fired at Israeli forces and slightly wounded a security guard on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as 17-years-old, Ishaq Hamdi Ajlouni.
Meanwhile, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has claimed that Aljouni was a member of the group which is an armed wing of Fatah – the movement that controls the Palestinian Authority, which has limited self-rule in the occupied territory.

“Our heroic fighters … were able to directly target occupation [Israeli] troopers at Qalandia checkpoint,” the brigades said in a statement.
The Qalandia checkpoint is the main gateway used by Palestinians between occupied east Jerusalem and Ramallah, the seat of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.
Violence between Palestinians and Israelis rages in west bank this past week following a deadly raid at Jenin refugee camp during which five Palestinians were killed.
Israeli military had claimed that they went to arrest two suspects but none was held.
A day after the deadly raid, a Palestinian gunmen killed four Israeli settlers at a petrol station between the Palestinian cities of Ramallah and Nablus.
Hours after that shooting, Israeli settlers stormed through Palestinian towns, torching property and smashing cars, and killing one Palestinian man.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk “condemned” Israel’s use of missiles in the raids, while the United States said the same day it is “actively engaging” with Israel after the surge in violence.
