Jammu: A suspected insurgent has been shot dead by Indian Army when he was trying to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir through Nowshra LOC of J&K Rajouri district, Army said.
"In the afternoon hours, an alert Army patrol killed an insurgent trying to infiltrate along the Line of Control in the Lam sector, Naushera, Jammu based defence spokesperson told News Agency KNO.
He added that the body along with items for survival have been recovered.
