One Dead, Two Critical Among Seven Injured In Anantnag Accident

Anantnag: A man, who was a doctor by profession, was killed while seven others sustained injuries in a road mishap in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

According to local officials, the accident occurred when a cab with the registration number JK03B 1989, en route from Deesu to Vailoo, skidded off the road, plunging from a bridge.

The tragic incident resulted in the untimely demise of one person, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Shapoo, a resident of Zalangam Kokernag, who was an Ayurvedic doctor by profession, officials said.

“The injured victims were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, the condition of two of the injured persons is reported to be critical.”

Police officials stated they have already arrived at the accident site to collect details.
