Pulwama: An OGW (Over Ground Worker) was arrested in the Rajpora area of Pulwama district along with a Pistol and several rounds of ammunition, Police said.
The youth who had gone missing a few days ago and a missing report stand lodged at Police Station Rajpora have been identified as Rahil Showkat, resident of Drabgam Pulwama.
"A joint Naka (checking post) by Pulwama Police, 44 RR and 183 Bn CRPF at Pachahar Rajpora intercepted him when he was roaming suspiciously.

He said that on being challenged, he tried to flee from the post and attempted to fire upon the party.
He added that the youth, however, was tactfully apprehended.
To this effect FIR No 04/2022, U/S 307IPC.7/25 Arms act P/S Rajpora has bee was taken stored and further investigation was taken up, he said.
